Meet Gwen! She’s a 14 month old, 55# Mountain Cur mix that came to us from local animal control. Gwen has done very well in her foster home and is housebroken and crate trained. She knows some basic commands like sit, down, roll over, and hug. Gwen is a quick learner and treat motivated, so she should do well with further training. She loves walks, playing fetch, and cuddling with her people. Gwen is good with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. She doesn’t bark very much and stays off of the furniture in her foster home. Gwen hasn’t been around children and can be a little hesitant around men, but warms up quickly. We do feel it best that she not be in a home with young children. She is still young and will chew if given the opportunity, so she does still need supervision. Gwen would make an excellent companion; if you think she’s the one for you, please let us know!
